ELECTRONICS  (TV’s, computers, laptops, cell phones, speakers, wires, old radios, etc…)

APPLIANCES:    Washers, driers, microwaves, any other appliance MADE OF METAL  (Plastic appliances hair dryers, vacuum cleaners, humidifiers, etc… and NOT accepted)

METAL:  Any made from mostly metal, metal scraps, tools, file cabinets, grills, etc…

Because of environmental issues that make safe disposal expensive, the following require an additional fee:

Flat Screen TV’s                                                       $25  (any size)

Flat Screen Computer Monitors                        $10

CRT monitors and Conventional TV’s             $25-75 Depending on the size (TBD at site)

BICYCLES are also collected.  Second Wind bicycle nonprofit will refurbish and distribute the bicycles to families in need.

CLEAN PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS:   A local nonprofit will turn them into waterproof mats to distribute to the homeless throughout our region.

Fun for the whole family!  Green Allies is hosting our annual egg hunt at Althouse Arboretum (1794 Gilbertsville Road)    Bring a food donation for Preston’s Pantry and receive a dollar off per child.  (Asking for granola bars, crackers, coffee, pancake mix, oatmeal, cereal, jelly, sugar-free items, shampoo and conditioner set, unscented bars of soap, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and diapers).  Included with the Egg Hunt Hike are games, prizes, food, bingo, crafts, face painting.

NEW:   You can also “make your own pizza” for lunch!!!  (Extra charge)

Join us for a morning bird walk at the Althouse Arboretum, led by our ever popular, Vince Smith, President of the Valley Forge Audubon Society. Bring binoculars and dress for the weather.
